Pieces Of Life - Magic Mail
soft rock? balearic? soft n dreamy for sure...either way this is the sleeper track on this lp known for it's evil cosmic disco killers, which you can hear here on our good friend charles bals killer youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vZXNsXt7gw
Slow Very Slow - Sexy Soxy
title and cover pretty much sums up this mellow and sexy balearic beast, a lot of people asked us what was the last track on our sunrise mix for test pressing....et voila!
Fly Butterfly - Kai Warner's Oriental Express
for the next stop on our international aural escapade we fly to the middle east for some exotic slo mo funky disco courtesy of kai warner's oriental express, we're not sure what we dig more, the track or the sleeve
Blue Frog - Orchestra Di Enrico Simonetti
at first listen the intro sounds like we're getting into some deep drama ost territory and then the break drops and you realise we're listening to enrico simonetti's musical interpretation of a frog! another good example of why we love old records
Black Congregation - Remigio Ducros
funky italian library goodness from maestro ducros on the killer 'leonardi' label. always loved the magical cut 'Black Congregation' as sampled by ugly duckling many moons ago, can't get enough of that sweet piano hook, backed by epic gospel vocal harmonies, a fine example of the true beauty of library music
White Pop Jesus - Franco Bixio & Vincenzo Tempera
legendary italian producer combo franco bixio & vincenzo tempera team up again on this obscure and weird soundtrack released in 1980. don't know much about the film but it appears white pop jesus battles his demons with the 'disco sound'. why the hell not?

Let's Dance The Spank - Mohammed & The Black System
Such a mighty fine monster, relentless congos and timbales pin down the bass as killer 4/4 disco drums, hard funky vocals and one of the most insane guitar solo's laid to wax makes you wanna get your spank on!!
Jean Adamo - Stevie Wonder Song
on the obscure choc music outta france the same label that gave us the wonderful massiera produced 'hercule disco' comes this mighty afro gem, not sure what the connection to stevie wonder is here but we're not complaining cause it sounds like a pretty funky joint and it always hit's the spot in the club!!
Cincinnati Joe - Get It Together
time for some psyched out swamp funk, this 45 is a real tough one to find, took a while to hunt it down but was so worth the wait, nasty ass guitars wrestle with Joe's killer vocals as the organ screams blue murder, pure voodoo!!!

Alex Cima - Disconcerto
aside from one of the best sleeves in the genre this is classic cosmic disco territory, 'disconcerto' builds perfect vocoders around hypnotic piano groove that creeps up on you with every listen, top notch gear and a super tough one to find, the whole lp is a winner if you get lucky enough to find it
